On September 30th, 2023, the WOMCOM travelling exhibition opened at the Bakelit Multi Art Center in Budapest, Hungary, showcasing works created during the first two WOMCOM Artist-in-Residencies in Novi Sad and Budapest. The exhibition, focused on gender-related issues explored through the medium of comics, featured a diverse group of artists from across the Balkans and Europe. Visitors had the opportunity to view the creations of these talented female comic artists, as part of WOMCOM’s ongoing initiative to highlight gender equality in the comic scene.
