Lana Deković was born in Koprivnica in 2001. She graduated in 2020 from the Secondary Vocational School, where she majored in Graphic Design. She earned her bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka and is currently pursuing her master's degree in the same field.
Deković's work spans digital and traditional illustrations, comics, graphic design, and applied graphics, employing techniques such as screen printing, lithography, and etching. Her art often blends elements of everyday life with abstract motifs, exploring themes that range from personal experiences to existential reflections and slice-of-life narratives. She primarily works under the pseudonym "Žuti Šafran."
